Everything you need to know about voting in Indiana

By Ally Justice

With elections coming up there’s a few things that all those eligible to vote should know. Everyone in Indiana must register by April 9th in order to vote in the primary elections that are taking place on May 8th.  You can register by texting  ‘Indiana’ to 2VOTE (28683) or by going online to IndianaVoters.com. Another option is to submit an application to register in person at their local county clerk’s office or any Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branch.

In order to vote you must be 18, must be a citizen of the United States, and must not currently be imprisoned after being convicted of a crime. If you have any other questions you can call the Hoosier Voter Hotline at 866-IN-1-VOTE.
