The Warriors attended the Brown County Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 8. The weather was not ideal for a morning race, much less even a jog. With a 100 percent chance of rain and a muddy course, the team trekked through the race.
“It was fun at the beginning, to have that experience,” said Tristian Rowland (10).
Though Rowland says that in the middle of the race it seemed to backfire on the team.
Though the conditions were nasty, all the boys finished their runs. The top three times from Saturday were Brock Adams (11) with a 21:17, Rowland with a 22:04 and Jake Siekman (12) with a 23:15.
The team will compete at Crawford County this Saturday at 10 a.m.
