Girls’ soccer team succeeds in matches despite being underprepared

By Jordyn Livesay

The girls’ soccer season is still rolling around. On Sept. 18, the team travelled to Charlestown High School to play the Pirates, and defeated them 4-0. According to Kynleigh Watson (11), they went to the game unprepared and it showed, despite them winning the game. On the brighter side, they came back during the second half and played better. Additionally, players that do not usually play got to play in this game.

On Sept. 20, the girls won another game against South Ripley with a score of 2-0. Watson said they were not prepared for this game either, but they did keep possession of the ball most of the game and didn’t let the opponent score.
