New building creates need for more help at Humane Society

By Rita Nicholson

Volunteers are urgently needed at the Humane Society of Scott County, Indiana. The organization recently purchased a building on HWY 31 in Scottsburg and is trying to ready it for a grand opening. The new building will serve as a location in which a number of services will be provided, including animal adoption and dog obedience classes. Interested volunteers can contact the organization at 812-752-7500 for more information.
