By Jaiden Herald

SHS bowling teams competed on Saturday, Dec. 1 in baker games at Scottsburg Lanes. The girls’ bowling team won and improved their season record to 9-0. The boys’ team has yet to receive their placing.

Cole Atha (10) said, “We aren’t sure how we placed overall in the whole thing, but we did do very well against the competition we faced.”

The teams competed against six different schools and 20 different teams in total.

“The competition was very good this last week. We played probably the top two teams in our conference and did pretty well against them,” said Atha.

Kristin Hosea (11) said, “The competition was nearly the same as always. Some people were competitive and some were there just to have fun.”

According to the coaching staff for both teams, the players are working hard, improving considerably and competing well.
