Scott County School District 2 is still offering breakfast and lunch to students who are in need of meals during this period of eLearning.
“In an effort to still provide meals for our students, our kitchen staffs will work to prepare Grab-n-Go meals for both breakfast and lunch,” said Superintendent Dr. Marc Slaton in a press release and SchoolMessenger phone call to parents throughout the district on March 13.
Grab-n-Go breakfasts and lunches will be available respectively from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. and 11 a.m. and noon on March 16 through March 20.
“At Scottsburg High School, the Grab-n-Go pick up will be located on the south side of campus near the entrance located by the dumpsters,” Slaton said in the press release.
The meals are available to any student under the age of 18 who is enrolled in any of the six schools in the district. The student receiving the meal must be in the vehicle during meal pickup.
