Dear Mr. Bagwell,
I am so blessed that I moved to Scottsburg during my junior year so that I can have you for American Studies and that I got to be in your advisory. You have made such an amazing impact on my life.
When I first moved to Scottsburg, I was nervous but then you made me laugh on my first day when you called Briana and I, Clark Kent and Superman. You made me feel at home in your class with your jokes.
American Studies was the class I was always looking forward to and was the class I was the most excited for. I loved the fun presentations we did in your class, you helped me come out of my shell. You inspired me to be myself in front of anyone and to not be afraid of showing my true self. I learned that I could be my true self in front of people and to not be afraid of what other people think about me.
I wished that I could have had these last few months to laugh at your jokes and watch movies in advisory but that time is over.
I can’t imagine my life without you.
I was scared when I first moved to Scottsburg, but now I can’t imagine my life without Scottsburg High School.
I am so thankful for you and what you have done for me. Thank you for being a blessing in my life.
